BAU/ml = Binding Antibody Units per ml[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1619181169795{margin-right: 10px !important;margin-left: 10px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;border-radius: 10px !important;}”][vc_column_text]We recommend this antibody test (Centaur test) in the following cases:
- Measure antibody levels regularly and if they drop, consider a vaccination.
- After the administration of the coronavirus vaccine(s), by which time full immunity is expected to have developed. Antibody measurement will show whether the appropriate level of antibodies against the SARS-CoV2 virus has been established. Sampling is recommended taking into account the immunity period for different vaccines.
- If you have had a positive PCR-confirmed coronavirus infection – so you can find out how much protection you have.
- If you think you may have had the disease in the past, but this is not confirmed by a PCR test – antibody testing can be used to confirm whether you have had the infection.
